    war of bhishma and parasurama

                                               "AMBA DEVI"on the suggestion of bhishma went on the voyage to meet "PARASURAMA" for her favour.she keeps on travelling along through the dark forests of sahayadrikhanda not caring for rain,sun.

         PARASURAMA:

                                                     The sixth avatara of lord vishnu,the martial guru for "BHISHMA" was knowned to be lived in the "SAHAYADRIKHANDA"(kerela) was an the guru of dharma.parasurama was very wild with four hands contains          AXE","BOW","ARROWS","SHEILD".Few temples are represented with his images.
                           "BASOHIL" is only temple represented him.
       He was against kshetriya's and killed 21 RUTHLESS kings of different dynasty
                                         
WAR:
       First parasurama disagree with what amba devi explains to him.And orders amba devi to leave his place.but amba devi refuses to leave as she wants the justice and revenge on bhishma so she urges parasurama to wage on the bhishma.later bhishma went to sahayandrikhanda to get blessing and to inform the marriagal invitation of vichitraveerya.
                                                 But parasurama refuses to offer his greetings to bhishma.He was questioned on the issue of justice of "AMBA".as there is no fault of him he refuses to speak,.Later parasurama made the sign of war against bhishma.
                             

Later they were fought unferrociously,all the astra of both got destroyed and in final the parasurama took mighty"BHARGAVASTRA" and in return bhisha too has many powerful astras.he took "BRAMHASTRA" and are ready to wage those astras.Lord"SHIVA" appeared and took away those astras as if their power would totally destroy the earth.later shiva reveals the truth behind the swayamvaram and gives a boon to AMBA devi that bhishma death would happen after 25 years of an female child that was born.

                     " IN GURUKULAM"  Story Drona once saw a bunch of kids standing near a well and looking into it. Drona inquired if everything was fine, for that the eldest of them said that their ball has fallen into the well. These kids were the princes of Hastinapur, the Kauravas and Pandavas. Drona here remarks that if you princes cannot save a ball, how would save the planet? Drona asks the kids to get grass blades, using one of these grass blades as spear Drona hits the ball and it sticks to it, then he throws another one, this one attaches itself to the previous grass.                                "ASHWATTHAMA" Birth and Life Prior to the War: Ashwatthama was the son of Dronacharya and Kripi. Drona did many years of severe penance to please Lord Shiva in order to obtain a son who possesses the same valiance as Lord Shiva. Born a Chiranjivi, Ashwatthama was born with a gem in his forehead which gives him power over all living beings lower than humans; it protected him from hunger, thirst, and fatigue. Though an expert in warfare, Dronacharya lived the simple life of a Brahmin, with little money or property.
